This shark process art activity is a colorful way to explore ocean animals, paint, and creative expression. Children use a simple shark outline as an invitation, then choose their own colors, brush strokes, and textures to make each shark look unique.

Materials
- Shark outline pages
- Tempera paint or washable paint
- Paintbrushes or sponge brushes

- White paper

How to Do the Activity
- Prepare shark outlines on white paper or invite children to help trace a simple shark shape.
- Set out a few paint colors in small trays.
- Invite children to choose colors for their shark and begin painting inside or around the outline.
- Encourage different brush strokes, dabs, swirls, and color mixing.
- Let children add extra marks, lines, or texture with a brush or marker.
- Place the artwork flat to dry.
- Display the sharks together for a bright ocean-themed classroom gallery.
